The Duchess of Cornwall met with the Steward Volunteers and the team members of NHS Volunteer Responders programme who help onsite by guiding people to make sure the vaccination process runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible. They help ensure social distancing and identify people who need additional support. About the vaccination roll-out, Camilla said, "No other country does it better."

In March 2020, NHS England commissioned Royal Voluntary Service, of which HRH is President, and GoodSAM to deliver the NHS Volunteer Responders scheme to support those in need. Since the start of the pandemic, 437,000 NHS Volunteer Responders have completed more than 1.5 million tasks.
Many of the volunteers are workers in the hospitality, entertainment and travel industries who are currently furloughed from their usual jobs and using their spare time to help the local community.
