The patron of Heart Association, Crown Princess Mary received the new defibrillator at Amaliehaven. The Association announced that as per the wish of the Princess that the defibrillator must be set up in a place in Copenhagen where it will be easily accessible to people passing nearby.

On average, 14 people are affected daily by cardiac arrest outside a hospital in Denmark. A defibrillator can mean the difference between life and death, and now there is a defibrillator available at the entrance to Amaliehaven near Amalienborg.

Today, the Crown Princess Mary met with the Heart Association's CO Anne Kaltoft at Amaliehaven today to see the new defibrillator. The Heart Association set up the Heart Association's National Distribution in 2019 from which all money raised went to the distribution and setup of more than 400 new defibrillators across the country.⁣
