The Royal Family |
After four weeks of hospitalization, The Duke of Edinburgh, Prince Philip was released today. In the morning the security around King Edward VII Hospital in London was ramped up and the rumours started going around something happening.
Finally we saw the Iron Duke leaving the hospital. Philip was admitted on February 16 for the treatment of infection. Later he had a heart procedure at the St. Barts for a pre-existing condition.
Prince Charles confirmed that his father is back in Windsor Castle and he is thrilled that he is back home. I am sure the news is a much needed relief for the Royal family who are going through the aftermaths of the infamous interview.
I wish the Iron Duke, who will be 100 this June, a full and speedy recovery.

Still no confirmation from the Palace. It was on a Tuesday, four weeks ago that Prince Philip was admitted “as a precaution”. He has since had heart surgery
