Infanta Sofia of Spain joined her parents King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia of Spain for the annual National Day Parade at the Plaza de Lima in Madrid.
The Parade is one of the staple part of Sofia's royal calendar. In the past her elder sister Princess Leonor used to join them too but she is currently in Wales for her high school.
The annual event featured a parade and a reception at the Royal Palace of Zarzuela. The Royal Family arrived escorted by the Royal Escort squad and was received by the Prime Minister, Pedro Sánchez.

Sofia is a student of ESO Last year at the Santa María de Rosales school in Madrid and the national day is a school holiday for her.
She watched the parade along side her parents and then wathced her father paying tribute to the fallen soldiers.
As of now, Sofia only undertakes Royal engagements either with her parents or with her sisters. She has not undertaken any solo engagement so far as she is not the heiress presumptive but second in line to the Spanish Throne.
As per Spanish law of succession, Sofia will remain a working royal as long as her Father remains on the throne, The day Princess Leonor, Sofia's elder sister, inherits the throne Sofia will stop being the working royal.

For the National Day celebrations, Sofia was wearing a blue polka dot dress from Carolina Herrera.
She paired the outfit with her Mathildas Rose Ballet Flats.
