The Prince of Wales will attend the 10th annual TUSK Conservation Awards on Tuesday November 1st. William will celebrate the work of leading Africa based conservationists at the annual conservation awards at Hampton Court Palace. Prince William is patron of TUSK and help to launch the awards in 2013. It is the 10th year that the awards have provided a platform to spotlight the work of conservation leaders and wildlife rangers in Africa.
The Duke of Cambridge has a long-standing passion for the protection of wildlife. For a number of years, he has focused his work on the urgent global effort required to tackle the illegal wildlife trade. To help mark the milestone award alumni from across Africa willl come together to celebrate at this year's event. Prince William will meet the finalists of this year's awards and learn more about their vital work before taking part in the award ceremony.
On November 2nd following the awards ceremony the Prince of Wales will join the symposium bringing together this year's winners, alumni from previous years and conservation experts. The occasion will offer an opportunity for Africa's leading conservationist to share the knowledge, collective experience and expertise with the goal of motivating greater collaboration, innovation and to build greater resilience in conservation across the continent.
