The Princess of Wales, Catherine, is heading to Boston tomorrow with her husband Prince William for the second Earthshot prizes that will be held at the MGM Music Hall. The evening is set to be a star-studded dazzling event where 5 winners from 5 different categories will receive 1Million British Pound Prize money to implement their ideas to heal our planet.
And given the awards are about planet, nature and climate - Our very own Princess might again choose to go sustainable like last year and bring something from her wardrobe once again. At the 2021 Earthshot Award night, she wore her lilac Alexander McQueen gown that she first wore in 2011 during her very first US visit.
While Kate has some really lovely gowns in her wardrobe (Check out all of Princess of Wales's gown here), if its going to be a repeat then its going to be something that we have not seen twice in the public. I am thinking she will go with simple yet stunning - a gown with least work on it. Here are some of selections from her wardrobe and I believe one of them might make a come back this Friday:
Alexander McQueen Velvet Gown: The newly married the then Duchess of Cambridge wore this piece in December 2011 at the Sun Military Awards and since then we have never saw this piece in public again.
Alexander McQueen Black Lace Gown: Kate wore this gorgeous lace gown at the Royal Variety Performance in November 2019.
Alexander McQueen Ice Blue Gown: Honestly speaking this is one my least favourite gown of Kate. But she is known to surprise us so I won't be widening my eyes if she bring this layered gown back. She wore it in October 2018 at Netherlands State Banquet.
Jenny Packham Duck Egg Blue Gown: Something that I am rooting for. In October 2015, The Duchess of Cambridge made a dazzling appearance at the premiere of Spectre in Jenny Packham Duck Egg Blue Gown. I would really love to see this gown make a come back.
Phillipa Lepley The Vienna Crossover Gown: The most-wanted gown. Kate wore this Phillipa Lepley The Vienna Crossover Gown in March 2022 at the evening reception in the Bahamas. And The Royal community is really looking forward to see this gown back in public eye once again.
Temperley London Green Maxi Dress: Another gorgeous number that I would not mind. In March 2017, The Duchess of Cambridge attended the National Portrait Museum Gala wearing this beautiful Temperley London Green Maxi Dress.
Jenny Packham Wonder Glitter Tulle Gown: The Duchess of Cambridge wore dazzling Jenny Packham Wonder Glitter Tulle Gown in March 2022 when she attended a reception in Jamaica.
Gucci Blush Pink Gown: Somehow my intuition is with this gown and it keeps on saying if its going to be a rewear this is the gown Catherine has chosen. Kate chose this stunning blush pink gown from Italian label Gucci in February 2019 at the 100WF Gala Dinner.
Alexander McQueen Off Shoulder Gown: Catherine wore an ivory off-shoulder Alexander McQueen Gown to the 2019 BAFTA in February 2019.
She also has the same gown in pink shade that she wore at Prince Charles' 70th birthday dinner in 2018.
Apart from these there are few more pieces like this Alexander McQueen White Ruffled Gown, The Vampire’s Wife Light Sleeper Maxi Dress, Marchesa Dusty Pink Gown, Alexander McQueen blush gown that we never saw more than once.
Which gown do you think The Princess of Wales will be bringing out of her wardrobe.
