King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan had an away day in the Southern Badia region of the country. It was Queen Rania's first public appearance of the year 2023.

In the Southern Badia region, The King and Queen of Jordan visited three different locations to learn more about various community projects that are being run there. They first stopped in Al Disi for an agricultural project launched in 2021 upon the directives of the Royal Family.

They they headed for the Al Disi Women Cooperative Association that was established in 2010 and works with local women to implement projects with different aims.

King Abullah II and Queen Rania's last stop of the day Badawiyat programme. Badawiyat provides traditional food to the tourists and visitors in the area. The food is prepared using a solar project that was financed by the Jordan River Foundation.
For the day, Queen Rania of Jordan chose a traditional look. She was a wearing a black Thoub with embroidery on the bodice, sleeves and skirt. Rania teamed up the outfit with her Bottega Veneta Intrecciato Black Patent Leather Pumps and Stone Fine Swing With Me Diamond Dotted Earrings.
